We're currently seeking a dynamic and innovative individual for the role of a Human Resources Consultant

Job Summary:
Prime Hire is hiring an experienced HR Consultant to work directly with one of our client companies. In this role, you will function as the primary HR representative within the client’s organization, managing day-to-day HR tasks while aligning with Prime Hire’s methodologies and reporting structure.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in dynamic environments, can manage multiple priorities, and understands how to balance strategic input with tactical HR execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Client-Facing (Embedded HR Support)

  • Act as the primary HR contact for the client organization while maintaining strong alignment with Prime Hire.

  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, orientation, and offboarding.

  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, contracts, and documentation in line with client and Prime Hire standards.

  • Support performance management cycles, employee relations, and conflict resolution processes.

  • Guide team leads and managers on disciplinary actions, feedback, and employee engagement.

  • Track and report on key HR metrics such as attendance, leave, and staff performance.

  • Ensure full compliance with applicable labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Lead and support employee engagement initiatives and culture-building efforts.

  • Review, implement, and improve HR systems, policies, and procedures based on evolving client needs.

Internal (Prime Hire Process Improvement & Strategy)

  • Document observations and learnings from your client placement to inform Prime Hire’s HR systems, playbooks, and advisory tools.

  • Participate in internal strategy sessions to refine our service delivery frameworks, templates, and process guides.

  • Provide insights and recommendations on organizational design, workforce planning, and scalable HR solutions.

  • Assist in testing or piloting internal HR systems and tools before broader client rollout.

  • Contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and client-facing HR toolkits.

General

  • Act as a liaison between the client and Prime Hire, ensuring consistent communication, reporting, and alignment.

  • Provide strategic input to both Prime Hire and the client’s leadership on HR and operational matters.

  • Support any other HR or operations-related tasks as assigned by Prime Hire leadership.

  • Other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in HR generalist, business partner, or consulting roles.

  • Strong grasp of Nigerian labor law and HR compliance requirements.

  • Comfortable operating independently and managing relationships with senior stakeholders.

  • Naturally organized, with great follow-through and attention to detail.

  • Tech-savvy, must confident using Google Suite, Trello, ChatGPT, and any HRIS tools.

  • A fast learner who thrives in dynamic, multi-stakeholder environments.
